After the Information point ,the path proceeds steeply upwards to join an old forestry road which was built maunally during the colonial area.
The trail then leaves the track to follow a ridge. The stee-est part are equiped with wooden steps, half way along the trail a wooden shelter welcomes you for a brief rest and you have a panoramic view of the Beau Vallon Bay.The surrounding vegetions are mainly bushes and cocoplum, cinnamon and eucalyptus.
After the wooden shelter the path is easier,it is easier to spot endemic plants then the forest is rapidly replaced by shrubs.
A small river marks past human settlements with planted bread fruit trees and bamboo. The final part of the route reqires more physical efforts and as you reach the metal ladder the end of the trail and the summit is in sight.
