The first portion of the trail until Glacis Devos where the wooden shelter is fairly easy and required average phisical strenght. At this point low attitude forest provides some shades and a few endemic plants are visible. Also present are pandanus trees and pitcher plants.
At an altitude of 600 meters, the Glacis Trois Frères trail offers a magnificent view of Victoria, the Ste Anne Marine Park and other easterly islands in the archipelago, including Praslin and La Digue on clear days.
As altitude increases the forest become moist and mosses can be seen covering the surrounding rocks and tree trunks. Near the final approach to the summit the terrain becomes more rugged, the forest more stunted and the undergrowth more luxuriant.
From the peak you will have an amazing 360 degree view of the eastt coast of Mahe. From the summit at 600m you can discover the eastt coast of Mahe.
